My Little Book About a Big Subject: Money Mindset
I’m really pleased to share that my new pocket guide, Money Mindset in Franchising, is now published.
I wrote this book because, through my years of building businesses and becoming a franchisor, I’ve realised that having enough money to start a business and having the right mindset about money are two very different things.
Business ownership changes your relationship with money. You have to become comfortable with investment, risk, cash flow, delayed rewards and sometimes making difficult financial decisions when you don't know exactly what the outcome will be.
This is particularly important for anyone considering becoming a Meloosha Homecare franchisee. Having the funds to invest is only one part of being ready to run a business.
Money Mindset isn't a long business textbook and it certainly isn't a promise of overnight success. It's a small, straightforward pocket guide based on lessons I've learned from actually running businesses — including some lessons I learned the hard way.
My hope is simply that it makes people stop, think and ask themselves:
“Do I really have the right mindset to become a business owner?”
If you're thinking about starting a business, buying a franchise, or you're simply curious about your own relationship with money and entrepreneurship, you might find Money Mindset an interesting little read.
Sometimes a small book can start a much bigger conversation.
